If my moisturizer is SPF 15 and my powder foundation is SPF 15, does that make SPF 30? Or is it still 15?

It should be 30. Then again, there may be limits to an ingredient's efficacy that mean it's somewhere between 15 and 30.

I usually use 25 or 50 (the latter if I expect to spend a non-trivial amount of time in the sun).

I have a sunscreen that I use that's SPF 30 if I'm going to be out in the sun. Living in Florida, you basically HAVE TO always wear sunscreen. I worry that all the sunscreen is also too much chemical stuff on my face.
