Florida Weather

When I first moved to Florida, it was way hot every day. And every day, Christian would tell me that it won't get any hotter. I believe his exact words were, "This is the hottest it's going to get in Florida."

Then the next day it was even hotter.

It's cooled down considerably since then, thankfully. But somehow it got very very cold. There was even a windchill warning to the south of us and a freezing warning to the north of us. And you know what Christian said?

"This is the coldest it's going to get in Florida."

And you know what happened today?

It's even colder.

He's not to be trusted when it comes to Florida weather!

He really isn't--we may not hit it this year, but we've been down in the 20s before.

You should keep a rolled up newspaper handy (though a magazine works just as well). Whack him on the nose when he says such things.

After a few times, you just need to pick up the paper/mag and he'll cut it out.

You know what's funny about that? At dinner one night, this one dude said something that the wife disapproved of and she totally whapped him on the nose!! I couldn't believe it!!

You reprimand at home for that type of stuff!!
