Save the Boobies!! Race for the Cure

K & E are doing the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure on October 25th for the fight against breast cancer.

Both of them have signed up for the 5K fun run/walk and they are trying to meet their goal of $1000 as a team (The Pink Ladies). So far, they’ve managed to raise $530.

Chances are if you don’t know anyone with breast cancer, you know someone who is effected by it. A friend’s mother died of complications and I’ve had several friends who have had scares. So I’m making a proactive move rather than reactive.

I know that money is tight these days, and we’re all watching every penny, but they’re not asking for a lot. You can donate as little as $1 or as much as $100. Every little bit helps. And they will be getting up at the crack of dawn to do this, so please, if you’ve got a few dollars to donate follow these links to pledge money to K & E. I’ve already donated to both of them. I hope you’ll do a little bit too!
