I have some very nice knives. They’re very sharp and slice everything easily and cleanly. Except for cheese. I gotta tell you regardless of how sharp your knife is, it will never slice through cheese like you want it to.

I was cutting cheese for a sandwich yesterday and my finger slipped. I cut the tip of my left first finger. It’s not deep. I’m ok. It’s only as bad as a bad papercut. So don’t worry about me. But now I have a slice on my first finger and it makes it difficult to type because the cut is on the pad of my fingertip. Luckily, I haven’t cut my nails in a few weeks, so it’s long enough for me to type without agitating my cut. I don’t have a bandaid on it because it feels like Frankenstein finger with it on. Besides which, I don’t like covering up my wounds. Somehow, it feels like it’s festering.

I think I’m going to pick up a cheese slicer this weekend. Do you guys have any suggestions on a good cheese slicer?
