The Handbag that Wasn’t

So several weeks ago I was shopping online for handbags.  I like handbags.  It’s one of the things that I will spend more than I should on.  So I found this one that I thought was really cute.  So I sent it to Ryan (my man-of-honor).  I trust his judgment, plus, he used to go shopping with me.  We spent a whole day in San Francisco going through all the little shops.  So anyway, I emailed him the link and he said:

I see Florida is rubbing off on you…GRATS ON BEING A 70 YEAR OLD JEWISH WOMAN!  =)

*cries* 

This is what happens when you work from home and the only people you see are retired people.  You lose site of what’s appropriate for my age. 

Since moving to Florida, I’ve given up beauty for comfy.  Which is not to say that I’m an old hag now, but I definitely have a lot more shorts and tank tops instead of cute little outfits.  And I’ve finally found some make-up and skin care products that help with the intense sun we have here.  So there is that.

So anyway, handbag search continues.  But with the holidays, I will most likely wait until next year to resume the search.  I mean, I have to make a wise choice here.  I only buy one new handbag a year.

I think it's cute too, partly because it's metallic and I love metallic. Not quite as crazy about the pocket trim, though.

I don't mind the pocket trim. Inside has several pockets inside for all my various gadgets. Strangely enough, the Kate Spade purses don't'! Neither do Brighton purses.

I have no comment on the bag. I am not a bag person. Neither am I a shoe person. I am a sparkly person!
